Head of AI

We are now looking for a Founding Head of AI to help architect the future of Caura's intelligence platform and play a defining role in the company's technical and product direction.

What you'll do

  • As a core member of our founding team, you will:
  • Architect and own Caura's unified intelligence platform.
  • Advance our memory-driven reasoning systems that enable organization-wide intelligence.
  • Develop agentic workflows that integrate corporate, operational, and market data.
  • Drive strategy across LLMs, retrieval, routing, evaluation, and orchestration.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering to bring novel AI capabilities from concept to deployment.
  • Help set the technical culture, standards, and long-term vision for Caura's AI roadmap.

What we're looking for

  • A technical leader who:
  • Has deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, agent architectures, orchestration, and evaluation.
  • Has built or scaled advanced AI systems in production.
  • Operates fluently across research, infrastructure, and product strategy.
  • Thrives in early-stage environments where ownership is vast and impact is immediate.

Senior AI / ML Engineer

We're looking for an exceptional AI Algorithm Engineer to join us early and help shape our core technology.

What you'll do

  • Designing advanced retrieval systems (Neo4j, hybrid vector + graph search)
  • Managing the memory lifecycle: create, update, deduplicate, delete
  • Building LLM extraction pipelines → structured knowledge
  • Developing agentic capabilities alongside the founding team
  • Representing Caura at conferences, workshops, and customer sessions

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • 3+ years in AI/Algorithms
  • Python (preferred) or Go
  • Experience with IR, NLP, knowledge graphs, RAG, ranking algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs in production, AI agents, Neo4j, vector DBs, PostgreSQL
  • Excellent communication skills & customer-facing experience
